Logic Pro Research – I used this video to show me the basics of Logic before I got it so I knew how it roughly worked.
I have not had a use for this yet.
I wanted to learn how to make some cool metal drums, I also wanted to learn how to make polyrhythms since I haven’t quite grasped them yet.
For this tutorial by Keyan Houshmand, I learned how drums intertwine with the rest of the song, and work with the other instruments.
Jay Postones video taught me basics of drumming in metal music, I will usually come back and refer to this video when I am writing drums for my songs.
A Music class about texture inspired me to learn how to create texture with multiple instruments, I used this video and then a few days later I felt down so I created a deep ominous orchestral piece.
I regularly come back to this Plini video for advice on writing guitar riffs, usually because I love progressive metal and need some more inspiration of chord progressions or building up chords. It works well with the Jay Postones drumming tutorials.
When I made my extreme heavy/trash metal piece I used 66Samus’s blast beats video that my drummer friend sent me after I asked him what are some good tips for making good metal drums.
I have not used this Logic Pro video, I only have it because I was researching up on Logic Pro before I got it.
